Millers Oils

Millers Oils is a British lubricant brand with a strong following among classic car and motorcycle owners. In this catalogue its range is built around the needs of older vehicles: engine oils that suit flat-tappet camshafts and non-detergent-era designs, gear and differential oils for vintage transmissions, and specialist products for running in, preservation and suspension.

Engine oils. Many older engines were designed around single-grade oils such as SAE 30, 40 or 50, and a number of owners still prefer them for originality. Multigrade options like 20W-50 offer easier starting while keeping a thick film when hot. Sport and racing grades address engines that are driven hard.

Running-in and preservation. Running-in oils are intended for freshly rebuilt engines, while preservation oils help protect internal surfaces during storage. Follow the product description for how long to use each.

Transmission and differential. The range includes gear oils and differential oils in GL-4 and GL-5 specifications. Gearboxes with brass synchromesh components often call for GL-4, so check the handbook before choosing.

Suspension and two-stroke. Shock oils in different viscosities are available for lever-arm dampers and similar units, together with a mineral two-stroke oil for older machines.
