ISO 32 / SAE 10 shock absorber and fork oil for sporty handling

Millers Classic Shock Oil 32 is a medium SAE 10 shock absorber oil with an ISO 32 viscosity classification, developed for sporty handling.

It can be used neat to top up or completely replace the fluid in shock absorbers and motorcycle forks. It is sold in 1 L bottles.

Choosing the right oil

Within the Classic Shock Oil series this is the lighter of two grades, so it is the one to pick when you want a medium, sporty feel and the manual or the damper specialist does not ask for something heavier. A thicker oil means more damping, a thinner oil less, so the choice is about how your car or bike should ride, not just about 'better' oil.

Always check the grade your shock absorber or fork was designed for. Using the wrong viscosity can make a suspension feel harsh or loose, and a car that is damped differently from the original spec may no longer handle the way the maker intended.
