Choosing the right oil
20W-50 is the classic-car default for many British and European engines of the 1960s and 1970s, which is why this grade tends to be the one people stock up on. It is a good fit when the handbook says 20W-50 or when an older engine runs hot and loses pressure on a thinner oil.
If you are choosing between this and the other 20W-50 classic oils, the difference is in what each one is for: this is a straightforward mineral multigrade for everyday classic use, while the Millers Classic Sport oils are semi-synthetic and the Kroon-Oil Classic Racing Oil is aimed at high-output engines.
The 5 L pack covers a typical full oil change on many classic engines; the 60 L drum is for clubs and workshops.
