Mineral Type A Suffix A automatic transmission fluid for classic automatics and power steering

Kroon-Oil Classic ATF A is a mineral, friction-modified ATF for automatic and semi-automatic transmissions of classic vehicles that call for Type A Suffix A (TASA) or GM Dexron B. Its friction behaviour is matched to the clutch and band materials used in transmissions of that era.

It is supplied in 1 L packs and is listed for GM Type A Suffix A, GM Dexron B, Ford M2C41-A/B, DTFR 13C120 and MB 236.2.

Choosing the right oil

Choose Classic ATF A when the handbook or the transmission tag specifies Type A, Type A Suffix A or Dexron B. It is not a substitute for Type F: transmissions built for Type F need a fluid without friction modifiers, such as Kroon-Oil Classic ATF F. When the fluid in the gearbox is unknown, drain and refill rather than topping up, so that two different friction characteristics are not mixed.
