Choosing the right oil
This is the oil in the Classic range for engines that work hard: event-prepared classics, and rebuilt engines of post-war sports cars with a lot of power. It is not an everyday-driver oil in the same sense as the mineral Multigrades; choose it when your use case is competition, track days or a high-output build.
Before you use it in a freshly rebuilt engine, check with your engine builder. A running-in oil, such as the Millers Classic Running In Oil, is normally recommended for the first period after a rebuild, and semi-synthetic oils are best kept for after that.
The 20 L and 60 L sizes make sense for race teams or clubs sharing the same spec across several cars.
