Choosing the right oil
Kroon-Oil says this oil is meant for post-war classic petrol and diesel engines without a turbo that call for a lightly to moderately detergent single-grade oil. If your engine's handbook asks for SAE 30 and the car is not turbocharged, this matches; if it asks for a multigrade, move to one of the Classic Multigrade oils in the same line.
A monograde is a straight-weight oil: it is sensible for engines that spend most of the year in warm weather or are run seasonally. For an engine that must start in frost, a multigrade will normally be easier on the starter.
The oil is described as not carrying a risk of loosening old deposits, which is relevant when you are switching an old, never-flushed engine.
