Motul 8100 X-cess Gen2 5W-40

A fully synthetic 5W-40 for turbo and direct-injection engines

This 100% synthetic Motul engine oil (8100 X-cess Gen2, grade 5W-40) is made for modern, high-performance petrol and diesel engines. It suits turbocharged engines and direct injection, and its long list of manufacturer approvals makes it a versatile pick, also for cars still under warranty.

The oil is suitable for vehicles with a catalytic converter and can be used with LPG, ethanol, diesel, biofuel and petrol.

Choosing the right oil

Use it when your handbook calls for a 5W-40 with one of the codes above. A car that needs a low-SAPS oil (ACEA C-class) for its particulate filter is not served by this A3/B4 grade.
