Millers Classic Pistoneeze 30 is a mineral monograde SAE 30 engine oil with a moderate detergent level, developed for classic cars and also suitable for vintage cars with a modern filtration system.

It is formulated with ZDDP (zinc/phosphorus) and is sold in 1 L, 5 L and 20 L packs.

Choosing the right oil

Think of SAE 30 as the straight-weight oil for pre-war and early post-war engines whose handbook asks for a 30. Millers Oils adds a useful caution: it suits vintage cars where the owner is confident that no dirt or deposits have built up in the sump, because a detergent oil can loosen old sludge.

It also suits later vehicles that have high-quality oil filtration designed for monograde oils with detergent and dispersant additives. If your engine is not in that group and the handbook asks for a multigrade, choose a multigrade from the shop, for example one of the Classic Sport or Kroon-Oil Classic Multigrade oils.
