Total Carter EP 220
Industrial gear oil with extreme-pressure protection
The Total Carter EP 220 is a high-quality mineral gear oil developed for lubricating enclosed gearboxes operating under heavy-duty conditions. Typical applications include bevel gears, spur gears, worm gears, bearings and gear couplings. Thanks to its excellent extreme-pressure properties, this oil provides maximum protection, even under high loads and where there is a risk of micropitting.
The oil is specially formulated to resist oxidation and degradation, extending the service life of both the oil and the gearbox. In addition, Carter EP 220 offers excellent seal compatibility and strong protection against rust and corrosion, including of copper alloys. Foaming and emulsion formation are also effectively prevented.
