The Total Carter EP 220 is a high-quality mineral gear oil, developed for lubricating sealed gearboxes operating under severe conditions. This includes bevel gears, straight gears, worm gears, bearings and gear couplingsThanks to its excellent extreme-pressure properties, this oil offers maximum protection, even under high loads and at risk of micropitting.
The oil is specially formulated to prevent oxidation and degradation, extending the service life of both the oil and the gearbox. Furthermore, Carter EP 220 is highly compatible with seals and offers strong protection against rust and corrosion of materials such as copper alloys. Foaming and emulsification are also effectively prevented.
